Kin Hospital is the largest hospital in Apocalypse Rising. It is located in Kin, near the church. Like all the hospitals in the game, items like blood bags, painkillers and the rare Dr. Pepper soda can spawn inside the building. Normal food and drinks can also spawn inside.
Overview
Kin Hospital was, before the apocalypse, used as a normal hospital like other hospitals. The doors inside are locked, so going to the second floor is not possible. During the apocalypse, it was presumably used as a holding area or a temporary evacuation area. It's glass windows are unique, as they have crosses on them, like any other hospital, They are still breakable.
Relations to Patient Zero
If you survive an encounter with Patient Zero, you will be teleported here. Your health should be around 1%. The walls of the hospital (Reimagined map) will be covered with a poem written in blood. The presumed writer is possibly someone close with Patient Zero or the person that experimented on him, or even the unknown Journal Writer.

The writer was beginning to lose his sanity to the virus. The virus spread from the infected to the uninfected too quickly to control.

This clearly referred to Patient Zero, though it is unknown how the writer could know the subject's actual name. It was possibly given out to the public or the writer knew more things.

The virus spread slowly at first but sped up as more and more became infected. The friend was "poorly protected" due to the fact that the government or Trinity Corp did not explain the virus.

The writer was infected with the virus. They promised to do their best to not infect others.
Troops were deployed to contain the outbreak and kill off the infected. However, the infection was much larger than they expected.

All of the civilians have become infected with the virus. The streets were now "full and bursting" with them. "But alas they were not unaffected" could possibly refer to the military making a final stand and killing off as many infected as they could.

Troops, realizing how hopeless the situation was, fled to the airfield with hopes of extraction ("cover").
